I will never stop being good because of bad experience with others. – Unknown
In Proverbs 11:2 (NIV) it says this: “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.”
What comes round, goes round. You get what you give. Tingnan mo ang dynamics ng seed – you get more fruits but just planting one seed. In the same way, aani ka ng anuman bagay na itinanim mo – either kabutihan or kasamaan.
There was a saying: “one tree can make a lot of match sticks, but it only takes one match stick to burn many trees.”
There was a woman in the Bible who lost her husband and was being let go by her mother-in-law, but she maintained her good character. Ruth was found by a wealthy man named Boaz.
Abraham asked Eliezer to find a suitable wife for his son, Isaac. After his long travels, Eliezer would ask a young woman for a sip of water, and if she offered to provide water for his camels as well, she would be the one! Rebecca was the daughter of Bethuel, who was the king of Aram Naharaim. She was not a poor servant girl who carried water from wells. But this is exactly where Eliezer was able to see Rebecca doing the right thing. As soon as he asked to drink from her jug, her kindness and greatness shone through. Naging asawa ni Isaac si Rebecca because of her kindness and goodness to others.
In Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” When someone is rude to you, it does not mean that there is wrong with you. Their rudeness reveal who they are. Just be silent. Do not allow the world to take the smile, the happiness and the fun out of you. Some people can be negative and they may want to treat you badly. But you have the right not to entertain their negativity. You can ignore their bad comments so it won’t poison you. You have a nice soul which you need to protect. Don’t take it personally when people are unkind. Just keep walking and remain the goodness in you.
When Jesus was told that He was a thief, He was this and that…He did not stay but He chose to leave the place and did not do much miracles because of people’s unbelief and rejections. Some people may not appreciate what you have done or what you do, but do not stop being good because of bad people. Keep doing good stuff because there are still appreciative people out there who are able to see the kindness in you. In 1 Corinthians 15:58 it said this: “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast and immovable. Always excel in the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
