“The strongest principle of life and blessings lies in our choice. Our life is the sum result of all the choices we make, both consciously and unconsciously.” – Billy Graham
Minsan nagtataka sila bakit sila nagdurusa at nahihirapan but if you analyse their lives, you will find that it was actually their choices that made them suffer. Hindi demonyo or ibang tao ang sumira ng buhay nila but it is the result of their own decisions that led them to be defeated.
Every person on earth has a free will, or the power to choose what to do. One of the best decisions we can make is to always love and follow God. We’ve been given the choice between life and death, blessing and curse, and now we have to decide what kind of life we want. If we decide to love and follow God, to walk in line with God’s word, and to do what He tells us to do, then all the blessings will come on us and overtake us. If we decide not to listen to God, not to follow His word, and not to do what He tells us to do, then the curse will come upon us. The choices we make will determine whether we get the gift or the curse.
The writer of Proverbs over and over warns us about depending upon man’s wisdom rather than seeking God’s wisdom when making decisions. Proverbs 28:26 says “He who trusts in himself is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe.” If we desire to have an abundant, prosperous, and a blessed life, then there are certain decisions that we are going to have to make to reach those destinations. Your life isn’t an accident. You have a destiny, one that only you can complete. The Bible says “You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail.” (Proverbs 19:21). Your life isn’t a mistake you have a destiny, one that only you can fulfill. The Bible says, “All the days planned for me were written in your book before I was one day old” (Psalm 139:16).
Choose God’s word today for life and blessing. God’s word guides us to the best life possible. Mararanasan natin ang buhay sa langit dito sa lupa if we follow God’s word (Deuteronomy 11:21). Your daily choices and decisions shape your life. Remember, God wants you to live in the reality of His unending grace, and when you remain faithful each day going after God’s heart, you will experience His favor, growth, triumph, and successes.
Tandaan natin that making no choice at all is still a decision. You have to make a decision, it’s not optional. It’s a choice to make the decision not to choose. Let me be crystal clear: deciding against doing the right thing is always doing the wrong thing. The decisions we make have repercussions, and the incorrect ones might have terrible outcomes. Choose life. Choose blessing.
According to Albert Einstein, God did not create evil. Just as darkness is the absence of light, evil is the absence of God.” Ang buhay mo sa lupa reflect the sum total of your decisions through the years. No one person or event is to blame for everything. Our entire existence is only the sum total of the decisions we’ve made.
When God commanded Adam not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, He was demonstrating to him the proper course of action. Much later, when God led Israel out of Egypt, He presented them with a comparable choice: “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; choose life, so that you and your descendants may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19). ” John C. Maxwell said “It is our decisions not our conditions that determine our quality of life”.
If we wish to reach a particular destination, we will need to walk in the direction that leads to that destination. The Book of Galatians 6:7-8 said this, “A man reaps what he sows, Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.” Our harvest will be based on by the seeds we sow; kung nagtanim ka ng buto ng bayabas, huwag kang umasa na mag-aani ka ng saging. Your decisions determine your success. Don’t expect good things from wrong ones, the same thing as saying that you cannot expect the right thing from a wrong person. Make the wise decisions that will determine your fate!
