Legally, you have to give at least a week’s notice if you’ve been at your job for more than a month. Even though your contract can say longer, at least a month is usually the minimum. So check your job contract before starting work.
When notice of resignation is not required?
If you’ve been at your job for less than a month, you don’t have to give notice unless your contract or terms and conditions say so.
