True commitment is not convenient

Ang hindi sumasa akin ay laban sa akin; at ang hindi nagiimpok na kasama ko ay nagsasambulat. – Luke 11:23

True commitment is not convenient. Jesus said: “If you love me, you will keep My Word.”   Sinasabi din ni Hesus: “If you want to follow me, you have to deny yourself, pick up the cross s and follow me…”

Maraming mga tao ang nagsasabing mga “Christians” din daw sila but they don’t have a commitment for Christ. Hindi nila priority ang kaharian ng Diyos.

Following Jesus has a cost! It’s very costly that not many are able to pay the price tag. Are we Christians only when it is convenient? If we are committed to the cross, we are committed to the Savior Who died on that tree. We are committed to following His Word that commissions us to do the work of our Father.

Blessing:

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. As you lay down your life and commit to following Him, may He strengthen you for every good work. Amen and amen.
