In Ezekiel 37:1-14 it is said that God would give His people a new heart and put a new Spirit in them. The original text implies that the Spirit would dwell in the seat of their thoughts and emotions rather than just rest upon them.
The scattered bones are a picture of His people and exile, and the gathering of the bones, their return and restoration as a nation. Ngunit kung walang Espirito ng Diyos, the reunited, reclothed bones are dead, lifeless and without power. Only when God puts His Spirit into His people, they will become spiritually regenerated and alive!
Kung wala ang Espirito ng Panginoon sa ating buhay, walang kabuluhan ang lahat ng meron tayo. Mananatili tayong patay at walang kapayapaan. Papag ningasin natin ang ating relasyon sa Banal na Espirito. The Holy Spirit has been poured out and is available for us, and we need to rekindle and guard the gift that has been given to us.
”Surely, I will cause breath to enter into you and you shall live…” -Ezekiel 37:5
