If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. – 2 Chronicles 7:14

Ang revival ay isang dakilang gawa ng Diyos at ito ay nagaganap lamang kung saan Niya gusto ngunit maraming mga pag-aaral ang nagpapatunay na ang revival ay nagsisimula kapag ang kanyang bayan (the people of God) ay nananalangin…

Walang sekreto dito: pag humingi ka sa Lord, ibibigay Nya yon. Ask and you shall receive as the Bible said.

One of the best definitions of prayer is this – Prayer is co-operation with God. Ang prayer ay hindi ang pagsunod ng Diyos sa ating gusto, kundi dapat tayo ang sumunod sa nais ng Lord. God’s will dapat hindi our will. Mapapansin natin na ang kasunod ng prayer or panalangin ay ang pagiging mababa or being humble. Prayer for revival without humility is not enough. Dapat nating malaman na kahit anong ganda ng mga latest and modern technology in our churches ngunit hindi natin kayang magkaroon ng totoong ‘revival’ sa ating sarili lamang at malibang makinig ang Panginoon sa langit, ang lahat ay walang kabuluhan. The act of humbling ourselves followed by persevering and passionate prayer are the essential pre-requisites to revival.
