God Will Speed Up The Process

Wala tayong nakikitang improvement. Nakaka discouraged, nakakawala ng faith. In the book of Isaiah 60, here is what it said: “Ako and Diyos na kaagad tutupad sa aking mga pangako kapag dumating na ang takdang panahon.” God said that: “I am the Lord, when the right time comes, I will do it quickly.”

Wala ka pang nakikita ngayon, but when the right time comes, God is going to do it quickly. Always appreciate that there is a time for everything. Not all the time is the right time.

In Ecclesiastes 3:11 “In His time, He will make all things beautiful.” Beautiful things take time.

Yong akala mong magtatagal pa, God will expedite and will speed up the process of your recovery, of you being able to pay your debts, of you being able to pay your mortgage, of your children being able to find a higher paying job.

But the king changed his mind and sent 600 of his fastest chariots and strongest warriors to capture them again. The 2 million Israelites were so worried dahil malapit na sila sa Dagat na Pula (Red Sea). Wala na silang pupuntahan pa but Moses raised his rod at biglang nahati ang tubig and they all walked through the dried ground. While the Egyptian armies were chasing them, the water closed up at lahat ng mga mandirigma ng Paraon ay nalunod.

In the book of Psalms 1:14, makikita natin kung ano ang nangyari because in verse 3 it stated this: “The Red Sea saw the Israelites coming ang hurried out of their way.” When it’s your time, things will move quicker than expected. Alam ng Panginoon how to move things that look permanent and quickly change them for your benefit.

When God told Moses to simply lift up his stick, he could have responded: “Lord, what do you mean na mahahati po ang tubig? Matagal na po itong ganito. Permanent po ang dagat na ito at never pang nahati ito? Lord, bakit hindi na lang po kayo magpadala ng mga bangka para makalayo kami?” When God spoke to Moses, everything seems impossible. Maaring matuyo ang dagat pero it may take time. “Lord, natatanaw ko na po ang mga Egyptian armies, naririnig ko na po ang yabag ng mga chariots at mga kabayo paparating para hulihin kami.” But what could have taken years the Red Sea to dry up, suddenly God used the wind to blow the waters back, they hurried out of the Israelites way.

Kaya yang mga problema mo na akala mo ay wala ng pag-asa, God will take it away and suddenly you will be at peace. It will not happen in a normal schedule, but God will speed up the process. Just like Moses, na walang nakikitang sign that waters are moving, but suddenly the mighty hands of God caused the wind to part the Red Sea. You may not see that things are changing, but the mighty hands of God are doing something amazing you never expected.

The ‘Red Sea’ is our impossibilities. Yong mga imposibleng mangyari. The vastness of the ‘Red Sea’ in your life could be a big barrier for you to see the bigness of God. But one touch of God’s favor, walang nagawa ang dagat but to bow down and obey the command, the voice of the Almighty God. Red Sea cannot stop what God has planned for you.

It shall take you a long time to finish law and become a qualified lawyer

This is what happened to me, when I was taking my degree in law. From start to finish, as I did not finish law in Philippines, I calculated that I will finish my bachelor of law degree in 4 years plus 2 years legal practice course plus 2 more years for apprenticeship (known as trainee). I suffered a lot because I was told that my tongue is short and it will be a disadvantage for me when I speak in courts of law.

People told me how expensive to start and finish law. I did not have an advantage because I needed to pay full tuition fee. Those obstacles were my Red Sea. So big that I did not know how and if I can finish. But I made a decision to trust the Lord. I took the risk of doing it anyway. I know He will never leave me.

In the book of Jeremiah 1:12 (KJV) it said this: “Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.” The word means, “pabibilisin”, ibig sabihin pabibilisin ng Diyos ang mga bagay, quicker than you think. What you thought was permanent, but God will hasten His word for your good.

We have a young man who attends our church in Maranatha. He came from a far-off university of the Philippines. He did not graduate from a prestigious school. He took a course, took a board exam and failed. When he was asking a girl he liked for a date out, the parents of the girl told her daughter, “anong ipakakain sa iyo ng lalaking iyan. Wala pa naman syang sinabi sa buhay. Find someone who is rich and able to feed you…” The man said, “Lord, I know bagsak po ako sa board exam, alam ko po wala ako alam gawin para magtagumapy, but I know you can bless me and make things quicker so I can be wealthy and become a blessing to my church and to my family.”

When he took another board exam, he passed it. He married another board passer. They are now working abroad, they owned several condominiums in Manila, they owned various businesses including hotels and millions in the bank. This happened so quick that he thought would take him many years, but God moved and sped things up for him.

The doctor may have said that it will take five years of chemo and treatment to get better. But God has a different plan. He’s saying, “I’m going yer     to speed up the process; I’m going to make your healing, promotion, and dreams come true faster.”

I believe that you will achieve your dreams because God will speed up the process

The scripture says:

Amos 9:13 (MSG) “… things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other.”

It’s not possible for you to keep up. Everything will happen at once; there will be benefits everywhere. This year will be like what Amos said would happen; things will happen so quickly—healing, promotion, and big steps forward—that our heads will swim.

The scripture talks about:

Romans 9:28 (MEV) “… the lord will make a quick work upon the earth.”

Yes, I know that there are times when we need to be patient, wait, pass the test, and be faithful. But there are also times when God will do a quick job, speed things up, and do things so quickly and amazing that they will make our heads swim.

You might see some quick works, strange things, and things you’ve been thinking about this year. It looks like it will take years, but all of a sudden, everything will fit together perfectly. “I didn’t see it happen that fast,” you’ll say as you look up. I didn’t think I’d get better so quickly or that the problem would go away so fast. God wants to do some crazy things.

This is what happened to Joseph in the Bible. He thought that he was at the end of his life.

In Genesis 40:22, “The Pharaoh hanged the chief baker…” Joseph was asking what he did to get the attention the Egyptian king. “Lord, why is he calling me.” God knows how to touch the right people come looking for you. Kung feeling na inapi ka, siniraan ka, people bashed you, God is about to do something good for you, to promote you.

Nong pumasok si Joseph sa palasyo ng hari, he was standing with the great scholars of his days, the king’s cabinet secretaries and wise men. Joseph, filled with the Spirit of God, interpreted the dream of the Pharaoh who made Joseph the prime minister of Egypt, second in command. What could have taken him years to achieve, God did it overnight! It happened quickly that Joseph did not need to study, they did not have to vote in favor of Joseph, or asked people if they like Joseph or not, but the king made a final word to make Joseph the biggest man in the land, after the king. God knows how to work quickly.

Maaring ngayon naiinip ka na, parang walang nangyayari, but your time is coming that God will fight for you, will promote you so that the world will know you are the child of the Most High God. He will cause the right people coming to look for you, to promote you, to be good to you for no reason.

You can only guess how scared the Israelites must have been as they stood at the Jordan River, probably thinking about whether to go in or not. A promise from God helped them get over.

In Deuteronomy 9, he told them, “Today you will be facing people who are much stronger and more powerful than you.” But the Lord your God will go over in front of you like a fire that burns everything in its path. He will control them so you can quickly take over.” Mabilis nilang nasakop at naangkin ang Lupang Pangako because God told them so.

You may be going through something that seems impossible right now with your health, your money, or your relationship. God is telling you the same thing he told the Israelites: “I’ll go ahead of you and take care of those enemies so you can quickly beat them.” Those wars are not yours to fight alone; the Most High God is with you. You’ll get through that problem faster than you may think. Now, remember this: you will quickly beat the illness, the debts, and the problems at work. Right now, God is making things better for you behind the scenes. He’s going ahead of you to take care of the sickness and the trouble. If you keep your faith, it will happen faster than you think. You didn’t see any signs of it; everything seemed set in stone, but all of a sudden it changed. God is going to speed up his word and things.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.” – Ephesians 3:20

So rather than mainip at magreklamo, thank God for what He is about to do – that He can move quickly and change things around. Maybe like Moses who thought that the Red Sea is the end, like Joseph who thought that his misery will never end, but with the mighty hands of God, He will speed up the process and He will do something new, something great, something beautiful! In the name of Jesus, amen.
