You are a genuine original, a one of a kind work of art, a master piece designed by our Creator so never be afraid to be yourself. You have the seed of greatness inside of you so never copy someone else’s persona because you are unique in your own right.

There will be times that people will leave you when you show your true colours – when you let them know what you really are. You should not be afraid to be yourself. Do not be afraid of losing people. Be afraid of losing yourself, your identity just to please everyone every time. If you are yourself, you will live happier because you will be at peace with yourself.

So Pilate asked Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied. (Luke 13)

Hindi na pinatulan ni Hesus ang tanong na iyon dahil alam Niya na sa isip ng mga tao, whatever he says will never change their minds. You will notice Jesus was not afraid to be called the King of the Jews. He never argued what was right or wrong, He never lost His temper to reveal that He is the Son of God, because whatever people say it does not define who He is – He knows who He is.

Of course, there will be times when you will suffer defeat. But never be afraid to fall apart because those setbacks will be a setup and an opportunity to rebuild, reform yourself the way you wish you had been all along. You will become the better version of yourself as a result of the new found courage from the past drama.

Oscar Wilde once said: “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” When you are authentic, others are not afraid be themselves too. A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking because it’s trust and confidence is not in the branch, but in its ability to fly, in its own wings. Always believe in yourself.

It will be very difficult to live life in a lie because you are only afraid if you are not in harmony with yourself. Be like a tree that it is not bothered to lose leaves as season change. Like the sun which is not concerned of his brightness, it will not apologise for its light. God created you to be you. There is nobody like you.

Today, instead of worrying about what people will say about you, make a decision to accomplish something the will admire and respect. Do not compare yourself to others because they have been given talents, skills and abilities in accordance to their structure. You are beautiful, you are amazing just the way you are. You are alive for a reason. You have important gifts. Do not be afraid to show them. It is when you are afraid that makes your gift not good enough.

You have the ability to do great things but you have to believe in yourself and take actions to make your dreams a reality.
