The Immigration Office announced that there will be no more “automatic visa extensions” after 31 July 2020.
Shona Dunn, the Second Permanent Secretary at the Home Office, has mentioned that the UK Home Office does not plan to extend the Covid-19 Policy to automatically extend visas after 31 July 2020.
My advice to some people is to apply now for your UK visa if you think you can meet the long-term stay in the UK.
