It is always good to have big dreams and aspirations but let us not forget that life is too short not to celebrate the nice moment and miss out being really happy. Kaya maganda din sa tao ang may panahon maging masaya dahil hindi natin hawak ang bukas. Let us not put off on things we enjoy the most.

Love those people who truly love and care for you while they are still alive. Maganda din may panahon tayo mahalin ang mga tao nagmamahal sa atin at hayaan na lang na yung mga naninira at hindi naniniwala sa ating kakayahan. Maganda nga yan e, may mga kontrabida sa buhay mo. Yan ang magsisilbing hamon sa iyo para mas maging matatag ka at lalong magsikap. Alam mo bang sumikat na bida noong 1980s si Fernando Poe dahil kay Paquito Diaz na kontra bida? Mas maganda sa pelikula ang mga kontrabida para pag nagtagumpay ka, magpapasalamat ka na kung hindi dahil sa kanila, hindi mo nalaman ang tunay na lakas mo. But because of your detractors, you believed that all things are possible and you can do thing you never knew was possible.

Do not live with regrets. Life is too short to live in mediocrity. In the Bible, there was a boy named David who learned to kill small beasts like lions and bears but he remained as a shepherd boy. He understood that principle that if he is to be hailed as a king, he needs to do something better, so he went on to kill a giant Goliath! Do not live in regrets and fear. Peter could have stayed in the boat with other trembling disciples, but he said to himself that it’s now or never. It’s either I stay or I become brave to step out of the boat and walk on the water with Jesus. Wow!

What’s stopping you? Fear, maybe? Everyone has fear even those who are on the top of their career and amassed great wealth. But one thing I learned from them is that they never allowed fear to dictate their future. Most people are paralyzed by fear so they don’t do anything. They remain to wherever they are because they are afraid of the result. But I am encouraging you today to take charge of your life. If you allow fear to get into your system, it will limit your full potential. Don’t die with all those gifts, talents and skills that God has given you. Discover yourself and know what you are truly made of.

Imagine the strong wind that destroys many trees and houses could be the same the wind that was mastered by eagles to fly above the horizon? They are not scared of strong winds because they know that the stronger wind can take them higher. In short, it is mastery of fear that we need to have. Lahat naman tayo ay mga takot sa buhay, ngunit kelangan natin lakasan ang ating loob at magbaka sakali na magtagumpay tayo. Of course, there will always be a chance na mabigo or matalo ka, ganyan talaga. Life gives no guarantee of success. You can only try and hope for the best. What if you succeed? What if you make it? Paano kung nagtagumpay ka? Tama ang sabi ni genius Solomon:

Sow your seed in the morning and do not be idle in the evening, for you do not know whether morning or evening sowing will succeed, or whether both of them alike will be good. Ecclesiastes 11:6

He also said in the succeeding verse: If a man should live many years, let him rejoice in them all, and let him remember the days of darkness, for they will be many…Ibig sabihin maraming alalahanin at problema ang buhay…ngunit hindi dapat natin kalimutan magsaya kung panahon ng pagsasaya, dahil maikli ang buhay para malungkot lagi. Life is too short. Enjoy life while you have it.

In Psalms 90:12, the Bible said:  So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

Pag alam mong hindi ka magtatagal sa mundong ibabaw, magkakaroon ka ng focus at mas magiging structured ang pananaw mo. Ibig sabihin ko ay mas magkakaroon ka ng better appreciation about life itself. Magkakaroon ka ng karunungan na pasalamatan ang buhay dahil buhay ka pa at pwede mo pang gawin ang mga bagay na gusto mo. At anumang problema mo ngayon, may katapusan din yan. Hindi yan forever. Habang may buhay ay may pag-asa kang mabago ang iyong buhay for the better.
